Legacy Program

Welcome to the Growing Sprouts Legacy Program — a special community created to honor the brave little warriors who have touched our hearts, whether they are fighting, recovering, or forever loved and remembered.

As a mom who spent months in the hospital with my own children, I saw firsthand how much comfort a soft blanket can bring. I also discovered how deeply our community wanted to support us — they just didn’t know how.

That’s how the Legacy Program began: as a way for families and supporters to come together, give back, and spread warmth to other hospital families in honor of their own warrior.

What the Legacy Program Does

When our little ones were in the hospital, so many people reached out asking, “What can we do to help?” We knew we wanted to give back to families in similar situations, so we created a social media post sharing that we wanted to take blankets to children in the hospital. The response was overwhelming, and that’s how our Legacy Program was born!

How the Legacy Program Works

Choose your Legacy: Who are we honoring??

Choose your Hospital: Where are we sending the blankets?

Post on your social media (we help with this) - See example post below!

Watch how your community sponsors blankets in your little one's honor!

-That's it: We will track any/all financial contributions, answer questions, and communicate with you along the way.

Shipping Time: We process, pack, and ship the blankets to the the hospital of your choice OR you (if you would like to deliver them!)

What's the catch? Honestly, there is NO CATCH. I am a mama who has seen first hand how hard it is to have kids in the hospital, AND how much it means have my kids receive a gift! If you’re on this page, you’ve likely been touched by someone who has faced a serious illness — whether it’s your child, someone you know, or simply part of a caring community. Giving back is a natural way to honor and support those in need.

Cost: Each blanket costs $15 to sponsor. Families joining the Legacy Program are never expected to sponsor blankets themselves, though you are welcome to if you feel called to.

Who Can Sponsor: Anyone — individuals, businesses, clubs, churches, and more — can sponsor blankets in honor of a child.

Timeline: A typical campaign runs for 1–2 weeks, but we’re flexible and work with your schedule to make it simple.
