Legacy Program
Honoring Little Warriors. Comforting Families. Giving Back.
A FREE way to support warriors who are currently in the hospital!
Welcome to the Growing Sprouts Legacy Program — a special community created to honor the brave little warriors who have touched our hearts, whether they are fighting, recovering, or forever loved and remembered.
As a mom who spent months in the hospital with my own children, I saw firsthand how much comfort a soft blanket can bring. I also discovered how deeply our community wanted to support us — they just didn’t know how.
That’s how the Legacy Program began: as a way for families and supporters to come together, give back, and spread warmth to other hospital families in honor of their own warrior.

What the Legacy Program Does
Our Legacy Program allows communities to join together to sponsor blankets that will be donated in honor of their child to hospitals and facilities across the country. Each blanket includes an insert that tells your warrior's story and creates a ripple of love from your family to another.
The program was created to:
• Honor the legacies of forever warriors
• Support and uplift our warriors who are still fighting
• Give communities a meaningful way to help out
• Bring comfort to families during challenging hospital journeys
• Bless others at absolutely no cost to participating families

Andi - Omaha Children's Hospital
Andi was born with a heart defect and had to undergo open-heart surgery at just 3 days old. She is now 7 months old and is meeting all of her goals and milestones! Her family worked with Growing Sprouts and the community to bring 100 blankets to Children's Omaha.

Henry - St. Louis Children's Hospital
Henry was born with Transposition of the Great Arteries. At 3 days old Henry underwent Open-Heart surgery. Henry is now 9 months old, and besides the cool scar on his chest you would have never known he was so sick when he was born. He is happy, healthy and thriving! Henry’s family wanted to give back and worked with Growing Sprouts to ensure that you know that you are not alone!

Ashten -Children's Hospital of Alabama
At just 3 months old, Ashten contracted parainfluenza which left him intubated for over a week in the PICU. He fought hard and overcame this infection. While at Children’s, Ashten’s family noticed that many families were facing long, stressful hospital stays with little comfort or support. With the support of the community many little ones at Children's Hospital of Alabama will be warm and cozy this winter season!
